TOM GLYNN - FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

Tom Glynn has been producing film and content for 25+ years. He is based out of Los Angeles and works all over the world. With 13+ years experience working hand in hand with the world’s largest trade shows, including MAGIC, PROJECT, Coterie, The Gift Show, LA Comic Con and more. Under his company Gauge Theory Creative, Tom has directed 3 feature documentaries: I, TOO (2022) featuring best-selling author of White Rage and The Second, Carol Anderson, who reconsiders the events of Jan 6th as a predictable lineage to centuries of racism, UNCIVIL WAR (2020) which investigates election security in the lead up to the 2020 election, and THE TROUBLES WITH BREXIT (2019) which examines the history of conflict in Northern Ireland and the unintended consequences of Brexit there. He has directed and written respectively two scripted features, AUTOMOTIVE (2014) and THE WAR WITHIN (2005) which received two Independent Spirit Award Nominations including Best Screenplay. More recently Tom has enjoyed partnering with Magnopus, a pioneer in the technology of digital production, to create VR and XR music videos with rising superstars like Sebastian Yatra and Madison Beer. Currently Tom is developing a documentary sports series with renowned sports journalist and commentator Christine Brennan, as well as a new documentary about Taiwan’s thriving democracy. Tom is a proud graduate of the inaugural class of the Indiana Academy (Hogwarts for Hoosiers!), earned a BA in Physics from Amherst College and an MFA in Filmmaking from Columbia University.
