THE TROUBLES WITH BREXIT (2019 - 41 minutes)

A Bertelsmann Foundation Production — Directed by: Tom Glynn

It’s more than just a border. It’s a line between peace and war.

SYNOPSIS — After 40 years of conflict in Northern Ireland, the Good Friday agreement ushered in a period of relative peace and stability in the northwest corner of Europe. But the unintended consequences of the UK leaving the European Union have threatened to reignite a sectarian fire that many thought had been extinguished long ago. This film takes the audience on a journey to both sides of the Irish Sea to explore the social, political, and economic impact of Brexit on Northern Ireland.

The Transition - Episode 2: CHINA

The Bertelsmann Foundation, a leading think tank in Washington DC, conceived of a series of animated videos to outline a new transatlantic agenda for the incoming White House administration. After working together on several projects over the past two and half years, they called again on Gauge Theory Creative to conceive of and create this highly original and strikingly visual series. Here is episode 3 on Cybersecurity. For more about the series please visit TheTransition2020.org.

The Transition - Episode 1: DIGITAL ECONOMY

On November 3, 2020, the United States elected Joe Biden to serve as its 46th President. New administrations present new avenues for collaboration, which is where The Transition comes in. A series of animated video interviews, The Transition outlines a new transatlantic agenda intended to withstand a period of significant tumult in the US and Europe.

The series departs from the traditional approach to transatlantic topics, instead using its innovative approach to brief policymakers on the issues that will define the decades ahead and offering concrete solutions for action on both sides of the Atlantic.
